KVKK Personal Data Protection Notice

1. Data controller

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK). The data controller is the company operating Movevia; its verified identity and legal contact details are published on the Contact page once entered by an administrator. Until then, please use the contact form.

2. Personal data processed

Identity and contact data (name, email, phone), customer transaction data (requests, quotes, bookings, messages, reviews), immigration case data including questionnaire answers, documents you upload, and transaction security data (log records, session data).

Some immigration documents may include special categories of personal data. These are processed only with your explicit consent and only where necessary for the service you requested.

3. Purposes of processing

Creating and managing your membership, delivering marketplace services, matching you with independent providers, managing immigration cases and documents, communication and support, security and fraud prevention, and fulfilling legal obligations.

4. Legal grounds

Processing is based on Article 5/2 of KVKK: it is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, necessary for the controller's legitimate interests, or required by law. Optional marketing communications, non-essential cookies and any special categories of data are based on explicit consent under Articles 5/1 and 6/2.

5. Collection method

Personal data is collected electronically through the forms and features of the Movevia website and through automated records generated when you use it.

6. Transfers

Data may be transferred to the independent provider you contact so it can respond to your request, to our cloud infrastructure, database, authentication, storage and email suppliers, and to public authorities where required by law.

Transfers abroad are made in line with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, on the basis of explicit consent or another lawful transfer mechanism. No payment processor receives data because online payments are not enabled.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained for the period required by the purposes above and by applicable statutory retention periods, and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights under Article 11

You may learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, learn the recipients at home and abroad, request correction, deletion or destruction, request notification of such action to third parties, object to results produced solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Requests can be submitted through the contact form, or to the verified legal contact address published on the Contact page when available. Requests are answered within the statutory period.
